House Groups

We have a number of house groups meeting at different times and locations, usually, but not always, at members’ homes. Since the groups are made up of different people, meeting at different times, there will be a group among the list to suit just about anyone. Groups study the bible, sometimes using aids, such as the “Lifebuilder” study guide series, or hold discussions on issues affecting Christians today.

If you are not already in a house group and are interested in learning more, contact one of the leaders listed below; they will be pleased to help you discover if their group is for you. You can be assured that, whichever group you join, you will be made very welcome.

House group times of meeting and leaders are listed below:

Tuesday am (weekly), Pam Horne and Grace Manning

Tuesday pm (fortnightly), John Giles

Wednesday am (weekly), Des Edwards

Wednesday am (weekly), Kathy Griffin and Hils Lloyd

Wednesday am (fortnightly), Lisa Abbott

Wednesday pm (weekly), Angela Horder

Thursday pm (weekly), Brian and Vera Lloyd

What’s so good about house groups?

We believe that belonging to a house group that meets in someone’s home is a valuable and enriching part of our Christian life and an important part of our Methodist Tradition. In addition it is a great way to deepen our faith and build fellowship.

Anyone looking to move forward in their spiritual life and their understanding of the Christian Gospel and to enjoy Christian fellowship would benefit from belonging to one of our house groups.
